【瞬間看漫畫IV】<二次大戰漫畫> (WWII cartoon)

不定期分享唔同課題漫畫 以後答DBQ見到漫畫唔洗就再驚啦!

早前提及過諷刺綏靖政策實行者 (Appeaser) 同埋國際聯盟 (League of Nations) 既漫畫十分常見

今次分享其中比較冷門既一幅

問題好簡單，用一分鍾時間睇下自己識唔識啦！

1. 試解釋漫畫所反映的是那一件事件? (Which incident did the cartoon refers to?)

2. 試推斷墨索里尼會否向國際聯盟讓步? (Infer whether Mussolini would make concession to League of Nations?)

答案:

1. 漫畫反映的是意大利在1935年入侵阿比西利亞的事件 (Italy invaded Abyssinia in 1935)

原因: 漫畫刊登於1935年，漫畫中墨索里尼 (Mussolini)持勢凌人，而且那個女人手上寫著「阿比西利亞的對與錯」(Rights and wrongs of Abyssinia)，由此可推斷漫畫正在反映意大利入侵阿比西利亞。

2. 墨索里尼不會對國聯讓步 (Mussolini would not make a concession to LN)

原因: 漫畫中墨索里尼雖然是國際聯盟的一份子，但卻沒有協助維持和平。同時，他十分鄙視國際聯盟，認為它不能阻止意大利的擴張。因此可推繼出他並不會對國聯讓步。(Although Mussolini was one of members of LN, he did not help to preserve peace. Also, he despised LN and thought LN could not stop Italy expansion.)
